DEAN / ASB ADVISOR, MRS. KAYLA MYRICK

I get to know a lot of students in a variety of situations! I am available and visible throughout the school day, before and after school, during passing periods and during lunch. I communicate with parents, students and staff regarding student expectations and discipline. I deal with inappropriate student behavior, disciplinary problems, and conflict resolution. On the flip side, I also get to reward and recognize students for positive behaviors and improvements through organizing special assemblies and rewarding students with certificates and parties. As the ASB Advisor, I plan activities including dances, dress up days, lunch activities, and celebrations that promote school spirit. I have high expectations for the welfare of next year’s students and look forward to our partnership.
