Research shows that parent and family involvement is key to helping children succeed in school.
At Murdock, we encourage all families to be involved in their child's education.
School, community, and the home are not isolated but are interconnected with each other and the world at large.
At Murdock, we understand that:
- parents want what is best for their children
- parents can be key resources in their children's education
- all children can learn and the focus of education's efforts needs to be on children's success
- it is important to help parents become involved in all aspects of their children's education, including its governance and decision making
Together, educators, families, and communities can succeed in educating children and preparing them to lead healthy, happy, and productive lives.
