Student Safety

Maryland Avenue School is one of the last schools in our District to have upgrades made to our perimeter fencing. These changes are a long awaited and needed upgrade to the security of our campus. In these changing times, it is vital that we make the safety of all of our Maryland Avenue students our top priority. The safety of all of our students is precisely the reason for these campus changes. The vast majority of parents and community members have greeted these changes favorably. Please be understanding about the need for security for all of our students. Although the look of our campus has changed slightly, I anticipate that the wonderful, supportive Maryland Avenue community will continue to feel as strongly about the safety of our children as we do.
