Dear Parents, Students, and Loma Community,
Welcome to Loma Elementary School! We are committed to providing the highest quality learning experiences in a nurturing and safe environment. We truly believe and ensure that every child is learning every day.
Our school is family oriented. We work together, staff and community, to bring out the best in every child. We believe every student brings with them, special gifts and talents. As a school community, we collaboratively meet the needs of each student.
Loma’s primary academic focuses are language arts and mathematics. History, science, physical education, and the arts are all integrated into our balanced academic program. We focus on learning that is meaningful, engaging, and motivating.
Children’s parents and families have the most significant influence in their lives. Parent and community involvement is key in helping us do the best job possible for our students. There are many ways you can help our students and staff, some of which include volunteering in classrooms, preparing things for teachers, participating in PTA events, attending conferences, Back to School Night, and Open House. The gift of your time is priceless. Given the economic times and declining state funding, we also welcome and appreciate donations of school supplies, like crayons, pencils, copy paper, glue sticks, and much more.
Communication is also an important part of your child’s success. Please be sure to read and listen to all communication sent out by the school and teachers. We will regularly up date the school website as well.
Please feel free to contact us anytime.
