PTA- A membership association
PTA is a membership association. With nearly 1 million members, California State PTA is the largest volunteer association in the state dedicated to improving the well being of all children and youth.
When you join Loma PTA you will become part of the largest volunteer association and will directly help our school. A portion of the funds received from membership will go to council, district and state PTA to continue to advocate on our behalf. The rest stays here at Loma to sponsor PTA programs like:
- Paying for the buses used for field trips allowing our students to go to different places.
- Purchasing charms for the spirit necklaces to encourage self esteem and pride.
- Replacing out dated equipment around campus keeping our students safe.
- Purchasing school supplies.
Who can join PTA?
Any individual who chooses to support PTA can become a member by paying dues to Loma PTA. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, students and teachers. Every one is welcome!
We have three tiers of membership:
Gold - $21
Silver - $14
Bronze - $7
Your PTA nominatting committe is hard at work trying to fill positons on the 2012 -2013 Executive Board and Chair Positions. PTA is a fun and rewarding expierence. Take a chance and join our team you won't be dis-appointed.
