Welcome to Murdock Elementary School!

As the principal of Murdock Elementary, I am thrilled to be able to work with this community of students, parents, and staff. I am fortunate to be at such an academically successful school with such a rich history of community support.

Murdock provides a rigorous academic curriculum based on the California State Standards, which are among the highest in the nation. Every teacher at Murdock is highly qualified and committed to academic excellence. The staff is caring and hard working. There are high expectations for students, and they have responded with a high level of success.

Staff and parents spend an extraordinary amount of time to help students be successful. They make learning fun, and they make their time at Murdock an experience the students will not forget. The staff does everything they can to insure that all students receive a first rate education. Murdock has a large number of programs to meet every child’s needs, academically and socially. The primary focus in the classroom is language arts and mathematics; however, history/social science,science, physical education, and the arts are integrated to help provide a balanced academic program. Our teachers go above and beyond,and our excellent PTA organizes many events throughout the year that add to the Murdock experience.

I am dedicated to do all I can to continue the Murdock tradition of excellence. Together, we can make a positive difference in our Murdock Mustangs’ lives.
