    With many more books and periodicals than our school library, the County Library is an amazing FREE resource!   The La Mesa branch is located on University and Allison, right next to the Fire Station (8074 Allison, La Mesa CA 91942, 619.469.2151).
     
    You can even reserve books online at your local branch, and they will email you when your books have arrived.
    See Mrs. Root if you need an application for the San Diego County Library.  (Your parents will need to sign the application and take it to your local branch in order to set up your account and obtain a card for you.)
