VISUAL ARTS AT MURDOCK
At Murdock, students have opportunities to explore the visual arts using a variety of media including watercolors, pastels, cut paper, and collage. Art lessons are taught by classroom teachers and art docent lessons are led by parent volunteers.

PERFORMING ARTS (DANCE & THEATER) AT MURDOCK
Students have opportunities to experience cultural arts performances at assemblies and classroom performances. Dance and theater arts classes are also available to students through Murdock's extensive after school club program. Many Murdock students participate in
Peter Pan Junior Theater which got its start in 1970 to meet the needs of talented students within the La Mesa - Spring Valley School District. Auditions are open to students throughout the La Mesa - Spring Valley School District.
