Meet Your Teacher
Introduction: My name is Mr. Mike Brus, and I have been teaching sixth grade since 1988. I was born in Wyoming, and grew up in a multicultural area in Ventura, California. I have served as Summer School Lead Teacher and Dean of Students at Spring Valley Middle School.
Hobbies: I enjoy creating digital art, drawing and painting portraits, working out with my wife at the gym, and most of all, playing golf!

Other Interesting Facts: I like to film our best classroom projects and performances, and with parent permission, put them up on YouTube so that everyone can enjoy them. I strongly believe that the more students learn to use the latest technology to create and access information, the more successful they will be in the 21st century.
