Introduction: My name is Mrs. Coover and I am the School Psychologist for the Monarch Program at Parkway Middle School and Fletcher Hills Elementary.
Education: I graduated from the University of San Diego in 1987 with a B.A in Psychology. I received my Masters in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling (MFCC) - now known as MFT in 1990 from USD. In combination with the Masters Degree I received my Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling. A year later I earned my PPS credential with an emphasis in School Psychology from Chapman University. I have taught Graduate Level classes at University of San Diego, as well as Guest Speaking at Chapman University. I am actively involved in the California Association of School Psychologists, and attend their yearly conferences.
Hobbies: I have swum competitively most of my life. I still swim daily with one of 3 Masters Swim Teams. Primarily I swim the UCSD Masters. I love walking at La Jolla Cove, and I also love to shop!

Other Interesting Facts: I live in La Jolla with my husband Steve, and my cat Charlie. I have two stepsons, Paul and Jeff. Paul teaches PE in Oakland, and Jeff is a Professional Pole Vaulter. My husband is the principal at Mt. Miguel High School.
