Student and school safety is always our top priority here at Northmont Elementary. We know that students will not do their best learning unless they feel safe and comfortable. We also take very seriously the trust you place in our staff to keep your precious children safe and secure. In our efforts to keep our campus safe, we ask that our community also observes some basic safety guidelines. Please make sure you always check in with the office anytime you are visiting the campus. You MUST have a visitor or volunteer badge anytime you come to school. All staff members direct visitors to the office when they see anyone without a badge. You MUST always sign students out in the office if you come to pick up before school dismissal time. School dismisses at 2:20 everyday except Tues, which is a 1:05 dismissal time. We require that you sign students out in the office even if you are picking up just a few minutes early.
Please be patient and understanding when any staff member reminds you of our safety requirements. All of these precautions are to ensure the safety of all. Staff members are dedicated to your child's safety. They are not trying to offend anyone or cause delays in your plans.
